Oil & Air Source
OFTEC-Approved Oil Training & Assessment
In many remote and rural areas, natural gas isn’t an option. For engineers working in these regions, Oil Heating is a vital skill set that opens doors to a consistent and loyal customer base.
At our centre, we provide comprehensive training for pressure-jet oil-fired equipment. Our courses balance classroom theory with rigorous practical exercises, ensuring you are fully prepared for the modern domestic heating market.
For Those New to the Industry: The OFT50 Pathway
If you have little to no experience in the oil sector, our OFT50 Entry Level course is your starting point. We provide a wealth of industry knowledge and “real-world” tuition to get you up to speed.
- In-Depth Tuition: Learn the fundamentals of heating design and full system installations.
- Extended Training: For those completely new to the trade, we allocate additional days at the end of the course to focus specifically on Heating Design and Fault-Finding exercises.
- Technical Mastery: OFT50 candidates receive specialised instruction on the disassembly and reassembly of oil-fired pressure jet boilers and their internal components.
